About circular economy

While circular economy is often lauded as a key tool for achieving environmental sustainability, simply adopting circular solutions does not guarantee environmental benefits. In fact, some circular initiatives may inadvertently increase environmental impacts compared to traditional linear approaches. This sustainable circular business challenge highlights the importance of understanding the sustainability impacts, trade-offs and rebound effects new circular solutions can create.

To drive the systemic change necessary for both the circular economy and overall sustainability transition, we need actionable sustainability data, collaboration among stakeholders and the ability to rethink business models. This approach allows businesses to position themselves for future success in increasingly competitive markets driven by sustainable practices.
