The award reflects our commitment to continuously improve human resource policies in line with the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, notably our commitment to achieve fair and transparent recruitment and appraisal procedures.
VTT has prepared HR strategy for researchers (HRS4R) which helps us to implement the EC's recommendations for creating an excellent research environment for our researchers. VTT's strategy for 2016-2020 forms the basis for the HR strategy. The HRS4R document includes our development areas and actions chosen by us.
VTT will evaluate the realisation of the strategy and progress within two years. The EC will make an external evaluation after four years and decides about possible renewal of the recognition.
