NATO DIANA innovation accelerator has chosen the following technology themes for the 2024 challenge competition: Energy & Power; Data and Information Security; Identification and Monitoring; Human Health and Performance and Critical Infrastructure and Logistics. DIANA will select the companies that can enter its accelerator programme through a challenge competition. For the first time, support is also available from Finland for the application process. The goal is to enable as many Finnish companies as possible to enter the programme.
The challenge call has five technological theme areas for which new solutions are sought. The application period is from 1 July to 9 August 2024.
Together with its partners, VTT is sparring Finnish startups and SMEs to succeed in the NATO DIANA challenges call. In addition to VTT, companies are sparred by Business Finland, Tesi, FiBAN, DDE (Digital Defense Ecosystem) and Define.
A sparring event will be arranged in Otaniemi in Espoo on 31 July for companies aspiring to the DIANA accelerator. Selected companies will be given feedback on their application from defense industry professionals and business and technology industry mentors.
DIANA also organizes virtual webinars where participants can ask questions about the application and evaluation process.
