Petri Järvinen, who has been leading VTT’s Operational Excellence, Digitalization and Sustainability and been a member of VTT’s executive team, has decided to leave VTT. Järvinen has been working at VTT since the beginning of April 2024.
”I want to thank Petri for his input in developing VTT’s sustainability reporting and program, servitisation, digitalisation as well as project and portfolio management. I wish Petri all the best and success in the future,” says VTT’s President and CEO Antti Vasara.
”I have decided to move on to new challenges outside VTT. I have enjoyed getting to know VTT’s excellence and operations during this time very much. I want to thank the OEDS organisation and all VTTers for great collaboration,” says Petri Järvinen.
As Petri Järvinen is leaving VTT, Tua Huomo, EVP, Sustainable Products and Materials business area, will be working as interim OEDS leader for the time being starting April 18th. Tarja Laitinen, VP, Knowledge-driven design research area, will be supporting Tua in leading Sustainable Products and Materials business area.
