Dual-use Discovery program

Are you a technology company, startup, scaleup, or SME in Finland,  Nordic or Baltic region? This program is designed to support you in discovering your dual use potential and helping you to take the first steps in the defence direction.

Program Overview

The program is primarily online, offering an optional on-site hackathon and a face-to-face meetup at the end. The program aims to help companies to enter dual use by providing valuable feedback from military end users, coaching, and classes on relevant topics such as selling to defence, validation opportunities, and funding sources.

For Who

• Tech company (startup, scaleup, or SME) in: Finland, the Nordics or in the Baltic region?
• Any company interested to discover if dual use would a fitting business for their technology
• Program is open only for NATO & EU citizens, and companies headquartered in those countries.
   

Key Features

• Participate in the program from anywhere online, free of charge
• Receive guidance from industry experts and military end users.
• Attend classes on topics like selling to defence, validation paths, and funding sources.
• Conclude the program with an optional in-person meetup to solidify connections and learnings.
• Be in the flow of information related to public funding, events and other opportunities in defence tech
   

Program Timeline

• Application Period: Open now until 16^th of February.
• You will know if you are selected, rejected or if we need further clarification by 23rd of February.
• Program Duration: March 17th to April 25th.
• Optional F2F Hackathon: April 25th to April 27^th (requires a separate application)
