D.Sc. (Tech) Laura Juvonen has been appointed as VTT’s Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business intelligence, leader of the Strategy and Business Intelligence unit and member of the Executive Leadership Team as of 1 August 2021. In the position, Juvonen reports to President & CEO Antti Vasara.
Laura Juvonen's previous employer is Technology Industries of Finland. Her latest position was Executive Director of the Growth and Skills unit, and she has been in different leadership positions since 2015. Her tasks have included implementing several strategy and scenario processes and actively renewing modes of operation. In the past, Juvonen has worked as e.g. Managing Director of the Technology Industries of Finland Centennial Foundation and the Finnish Foundation for Technology Promotion. Juvonen is also widely networked in the technology sector through positions of trust and international experience.
