Marko Koistila has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team as of 1 June 2022. In the position, Koistila reports to President and CEO Antti Vasara. Marko Koistila joined VTT in June 2019 as Vice President, Sales and Customer Partnerships, and has worked as acting EVP, CO since 14 March.
Marko Koistila is widely experienced in challenging international and cross-functional leadership roles in the pharmaceutical industry and has gained understanding of future technologies and their sales. Marko has fruitfully led transformation and customer-centric ways of working in VTT’s sales organization.
