Speakers
Teemu Sihvonen is a research scientist with ten years of experience in process modelling. His main field has been energy storage concepts, especially the Power-to-Gas process. Also, molten salt thermal energy storage solutions and different power cycle concepts are among his interests. His most recent research activities include the electrification of industrial processes.
Hannu Mikkonen is a senior scientist with 20 years of experience in process modelling and automation systems. His main field is developing new energy concepts starting from conventional coal power plants modelling to oxy combustion and carbon capture and utilization. Nowadays his key research areas are Power-to-Gas processes, concept development and overall control of the processes.
Matti Paljakka is working in a sales role, facilitating dialogue between scientists and customers and supporting in establishing contracts e.g. related to Apros licenses, maintenance, training as well as analysis and simulation work. Matti has a research background in Apros platform development and maintenance.
